License
The license, in plain English
When you buy a kit you buy a license to launch a real business with the code. The line is simple: build on it as much as you like — just don't sell the code itself.
You may
- Modify the code however you like — add features, remove features, restructure it
- Rebrand and redesign it completely; nothing has to say ForeverKits anywhere
- Deploy it on your own domain and infrastructure
- Run a commercial business with it and keep everything you earn
- Sell the operating business you build on it — site, domain, brand, customers and all
You may not
- Resell or redistribute the source code itself, in whole or in part
- Repackage it as a template, kit, boilerplate, or starter for others to buy
- Launch a product whose offering is the kit's code — a competing kit store, for instance
- Share repository access with people outside your business
Refunds and the license
If a kit purchase is refunded, its license ends at the same moment and your access to the private repository is removed. Details of the 30-day refund window are in the refund policy.
One license per kit purchase, covering one business. Want to launch the same kit as several separate businesses? Buy a license for each — or ask us first; we are easy to reach and happy to talk it through.
